The Chick-fil-A Kitchen Director is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the kitchen operations at Chick-fil-A restaurants. The Kitchen Director ensures that all food items are prepared and served according to Chick-fil-A standards of quality, cleanliness, and food safety. They manage kitchen staff, develop BOH Leaders and oversee inventory and ordering of supplies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling employees.

• Ensure that all food products are prepared according to Chickfila's recipes and standards, while maintaining consistency and quality.

• Develop and maintain food production schedules and ensure that the kitchen is adequately staffed at all times.

• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and serviced regularly.

• Monitor food inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and preparation techniques.

• Work closely with other departments, including front-of-house staff and management, to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

• Develop and implement new menu items and seasonal offerings in collaboration with the marketing and culinary teams.

• Manage kitchen budgets and expenses to ensure profitability and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in restaurant kitchen management

• Strong leadership and management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
