FOOD SAFETY DIRECTOR
The Chick-fil-A Food Safety Director will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met in all Chick-fil-A restaurants. This includes developing and implementing food safety policies and procedures, training team members on food safety practices, conducting audits and inspections, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement food safety policies and procedures that comply with all federal, state, and local regulations and Chick-fil-A standards
Train and educate restaurant team members on food safety practices, including proper food handling, storage, and preparation techniques
Conduct regular food safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, and identify areas for improvement
Maintain accurate records of food safety inspections and corrective actions, and provide regular reports to senior management
Coordinate with other departments, such as operations and marketing, to ensure food safety considerations are incorporated into all business decisions and initiatives
Investigate and respond to any food safety incidents, including coordinating with regulatory agencies and conducting internal investigations as needed
Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure they meet Chick-fil-A's food safety standards and specifications
Stay up-to-date on all relevant food safety regulations, standards, and industry trends, and proactively recommend updates to policies and procedures as needed
Develop and lead food safety training programs for restaurant team members and managers
Manage and supervise food safety inspectors and auditors
