The Assistant General Manager is responsible for supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. This includes overseeing the team, ensuring excellent customer service, and ensuring that the restaurant meets and exceeds Chick-fil-A standards. The Assistant General Manager will lead by example and assist in creating a positive work environment for team members.
Operations
Maintain Scores at top 20% or above
Keep up with comment's on CEMs
Conduct Customer walk thru, provided on @CFA once a month
Meet with each leader twice a month
Use surveys, Mystery shops in feedbacks & Learning with leaders accountable
Labor & Productivity
Maintain Labor at 19.5 or top 33%
Pull daily reports (Actual vs scheduled, Labor by daypart)
Maintain productivity at $85
Daily communication with shift leaders
Average Check
Maintain breakfast and lunch average check at or above monthly goals.
Ensure Suggestive selling is happening/Contests & Spot Checks)
Ensure the team is versed in proper verbiage for suggestive selling
Cleaning
Follow up on shift cleaning daily
Communicate Opportunities
Maintenance & Repair
Make sure TBR is always sought out
Look for opportunities to maintain existing equipment
Maintain M&R Budget
Follow up on Repair & Charges
Maintain Repair Log
Qualifications
Must have at least 5 years of experience in Leadership
Must have good coaching skills
Must be available 40 hours a week
Must be proficient in Microsoft office & Restaurant Software
Must be able to work independently.
